Sarah Mak

Sarah Mak (b. 2001) is an American Australian multidisciplinary artist living and working in Boulder, Colorado. Mak is originally from California, however, relocated to Australia in 2011. Mak is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Her art spans various mediums, with drawing as her primary mode of expression. Specializing in realistic drawings using graphite pencils, colored pencils, and ballpoint pens, she ventures beyond technical skill, delving into provocative and humorous imagery that challenges societal norms on themes like violence, desensitization, gun control, militarization, and consumerism.
